This is my second time through Be Better, and I am so glad
I invested another 8 months into it. I grew so much the first time through, but I am so much more focused and still learning
and implementing this second time.
I have been married
for 17 years and have a 15 year old son. I bartended for 19 years along with teaching group exercise for 11 years and
started personal training 10 years ago. I gave up bartending two nights a week, 3 years ago, thank God! I have spent the last
3 years focusing only on Lange Fitness and looking back now wish I would have focused only on that much sooner. I was
working on opening a studio in January 2009 when the economy took a downward turn and my investor had to back out. I am thankful
now that it didn't happen. Feeling like I needed some direction on which way to take my business, I called to council
with Phil and came to learn about Be Better.
I am running
Lange Fitness as an independent contractor out of a studio in Orlando. I have partnered with another personal trainer
who is also an incredible chef, to grow Healthy Bites, a healthy meals business he is currently running from his home.
He cooks 150 healthy meals a week out of his house with two sous chefs and he is completely slammed with many people asking
for his services. I am coming on board as an equal partner to run and market the business side and grow Healthy Bites
and to have a profit center that I can send my current clients to and many other future healthy eating clients. We are
working with a catering company who has a kitchen and a staff so it can free Franco up to manage and stay creative on the
food side! I have a passion for cooking and healthy food and now I feel like all that restaurant experience(19 years)
wasn't a waste of time.
I love working and coaching
people to a healthy lifestyle, but I would like to be able to have more time out of the gym. I am in a position now where
I am not able to have another trainer working for me, however, there are a couple of trainers I would not having a problem
referring people for a referral fee.
I am proud that
I have come so far without a college degree (this has bothered me for most of my personal training career), that I have great
work ethic, I relate to so many different people, I am a great trainer. I am a good person and I help and guide many people
to a healthy lifestyle and live what I teach(In fact The Be Better program is what gave me the confidence to say and believe
all of these things). There is so much I want to do in this life time and my mind goes a million miles a minute.
Now with everyone in this groups help and guidance, I need to focus, clarify it, dream it, believe it and achieve it!
GOALS REVISITED: I will educate, guide and empower you to optimal health and fitness!
GOAL FOR WORK: I will have Healthy Bites Cuisine up and running out of Cuisineers Catering by September
1, 2010 and will increase meal production from 150 meals a week to 300+.
OVERLAP GOAL: My goal would be to buy or lease a new black Lexus RX350. I can imagine myself getting in the car
and smelling the brand new leather. I will open the sun-roof (if it's not raining) and listen to Coffeehouse on my satellite
radio as I drive down the road feeling awesome that I did what it took to reach my goal of having this new car. I would
need an extra $500 a month to make the payment.
WORK

WHAT CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE: I am an Independent Non-affiliated Aspiring Personal trainer and fitness consultant.
I feel that I can contribute support, encouragement and experiences with others in the group.
HOW CAN OTHER MEMBERS HELP YOU: I could use help from others that have experienced some of the things
I am going through as I build my business and forums. I can use the encouragement from the group as I try new things
that I haven't done before. I could use suggestions of different programs that are working for some of the other trainers
that I am not currently using.

CAREER EVOLUTION: The difference in my business today is that I have more direction and clarity on what I want.
I feel as I continue to grow, what I want keeps changing. I have raised my prices, I have attained new clients who are prominent
in my community, gained more confidence in myself and my business, spoke in front of a 100 executive women,created the Travel
Trainer workout, wrote an article for the Be Better Newsletter, exposed my weaknesses to my peers and mentors and most of
all gained the belief that I am a leader and stand out amongst the other ordinary personal trainers.
