I love being a fitness professional. What does that mean to
me?
Helping others (re)discover their self-worth and
potential through exercise.
I feel very passionate
about guiding my clients through their journey because I am continuously struggling through mine. Very recently I've realized
that I feel guilty and impatient everyday - so much more than I'd like or should. I feel a constant pull to do the next thing
w/o giving the current job my full attention. It is VERY frustrating and draining! I question myself whether I have too high
expectations because I know I make my life more difficult than it should be. (Oh, and I tell my clients to avoid using "should"
and I'm being honest.)
GOALS REVISITED: Working with
Amy Friese flexes your physical muscles and funny bone!
GOAL
FOR WORK: Beginning our January 2011 IMPACT session with a full group of 30 participants (January 3). I have achieved this
goal through meeting 10 new people/day in person wearing my IMPACT shirt as well as spending 1-2 hours a day on Linked-In,
Facebook, and Twitter keeping Milwaukee abreast of the value of exercise and clean eating through HUMOR. Our BODY TALK (funnel)
will be filled with 10 participants each month. Of these 10 participants, 4 will attend evening IMPACT or morning Boot Camp
sessions (spill over).
** I would absolutely
LOVE to own my boot camp location, however, anticipate this will take 1-2 years to become a reality based on current ownership.
Once I do own it, my mentee will teach the camp in the morning and I will focus on IMPACT and creating further revenue (methods
TBD).
OVERLAPGOAL: In February 2011, my husband and
I are taking a vacation to Mexico at an all-inclusive 5-Star hotel. Since the trip will cost $5000 including airfare, Fitness
for EveryBODY's IMPACT classes must be filled with 20 participants and AdvoCare sales exceeding $1000/month in retail sales.
WORK GOAL SHORT: I am standing in front of an IMPACT class of 30
sweaty men & woman enthusiastic for further instruction.
OVERLAP GOAL SHORT: Laying under a yellow umbrella, my husband and I are sipping margaritas, enjoying our 2-week Mexican
vacation. (Tomorrow we are going site seeing to a Mayan village.)

WHAT CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE: My contribution is
humor and insight. I am good at reading what people need without them telling me precisely what they think they need via spoken
word, email, or in person. I also offer a collaborative perspective (body, mind & spirit) as a yoga practitioner. This
has been extremely beneficial when helping clients tune-in to their 'softer' or introspective side which we all possess, yet
often neglect. Don't get me wrong -- kicking some butt during boot camp is just as fun AND we need that balance of hard and
soft. ;)
HOW CAN OTHER MEMBERS HELP YOU:
1) Share the strategies you've found helpful when stuck or catch-up in your
EEM.
2) What do you do when you want to hide away
and NOT meet 5 people?
3) How are you promoting your
website and yourself through your website?
ONE HOUR
IS WORTH: $80.00
INCOME INCREASING IDEA: IMPACT Sessions:
Filling a group of 30 participants at $240/month which is 12 sessions, revenue = $7200. Divide $7200 by 12 hour sessions =
$600/session!
Even at 20 participates = $400/hour.
FOURTHINGSONADAYYOULOVE: 1) Resistance training
2)
Go out for breakfast and cook dinner.
3) Meet new
people to recruit into my business.
4) Read a magazine
or book - ez and fun reading.
CAREEREVOLUTION: Today,
my main revenue source is group vs. personal training. I have a much better appreciation for who I currently am as a woman
business owner, thus more value of my time. I've learned how to balance by books, recruit new members, hire staff, conduct
a meeting, give an informative and fun presentation, as well as give reliable, honest and knowledge advice to my clients.
I've also learned how to say "NO" and stay a little more unattached to ideas, people and plans.
