I like to have fun with everything I do regardless
of the circumstances. I tend to jump in with both feet without a plan and I would like to change that over to leading
with my gut, but at least devise a plan.
I am always pleasant and that's the one sure thing I can say about myself
because I think mean people suck, and being mean only makes things worse. I am stubborn and I'm not very good at letting
people help me and happened to marry someone with this same twisted thinking. As of result of this we are completely
rehabbing our entire house ourselves (by choice, but mostly because of monetary reasons), so on any given day I am either
sawing, painting, dry-walling, cooking (with no kitchen) or cutting the grass.
Between me and my husband we could probably build an entire house from the ground up including a basement.
However, I am very domestic, so I tend to enjoy these activities as I am mildly obsessed with Martha Stewart.
I
am proud of the fact that I take ownership of everything that has happened in my life, good or bad because it's how you view
your situation and what you learn from it not necessarily what happens. I am also proud of the fact that my kids are
turning out to be pretty great human beings with their own thoughts, opinions and empathy for themselves and others.
GOALSREVISITED:
I'm an extraordinary trainer who combines great results-oriented workouts with compassion, empathy and humor.
ninetydays: Working completely independently
(outside of the health club) besides teaching a class or two here and there with an administrative assistant who has a clear
vision of my vision and I will be following my ideal schedule without compromising any of my previously allowed time for something
else.
GOAL FOR WORK: By the end of August, I will have conducted 2 supermarket tours each containing at least 4 people
which will get me 2 more clients that I will see at least once per week. I will have an administrative assistant in
place who will work on commission, and I will have explained to her what I want off my plate (setting up a venue for
forums, handling receipts, remembering client birthdays, setting up clients into the database to become regular subscribers
to my e-zine, etc) and how I want to be perceived by my clients as a committed fitness professional so I can better
focus only on helping my clients reach their goals.
OVERLAP GOAL: I'd like to be able to afford to make my back yard into a 4-season oasis. The
extra money needed depends on how much time I have to actually complete projects and if I do it myself it could cost $5000
- $7000 and hiring someone else would cost $20,000 - $25,000. It would make me feel more relaxed at home and able to
concentrate better on my career life.
WORK GOAL SHORT: My business should bring me the autonomy, increased clientele,
freedom and lifestyle I deserve and work in a way that is effortless and constant for as long as I want to do it which will
make me feel powerful.
OVERLAP GOAL SHORT: My home is an extension of myself and provides an organized, comfortable space
for me to think, write, plan and be inspired.
OBJECT: A water bottle (I know it's not very small, but it's working
for now)
STATUS: EMPLOYED OR
CONTRACTED
RANKING: AMBITIOUS
WHAT CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE: I think I'm pretty good about finding positive
traits in anyone/everyone.
HOW CAN OTHER MEMBERS HELP YOU:
1. Plan before jumping into things with both feet.
2. Procrastination is the worst for me because
I worry about it until it gets done taking up brain space it seems.
3. Negative self-talk.
ONE HOUR IS WORTH: $85
INCOME INCREASING IDEA: Bootcamps or corporate
venues.
FOUR THINGS ON A DAY YOU LOVE:
1. Nothing if I wanted to without the feeling of "I should be doing something."
2. Watch fantastic
movies that I was really moved by (I wonder if that's why they call them MOVE - ies).
3.
Have friends over for a tasty dinner I cooked myself.
4. Have an intense hour long
massage to work out the soreness from a great workout I had the day previously.
CAREER EVOLUTION: I don't tolerate lack of integrity anymore. I think I got here by constantly
learning and never believing I "knew all I needed to know".
