Focus on Your Intuition
Clarity, Focus, and Skill allow
us to work intuitively.
Focus on your coaching and expanding your
reach.
Without
action there is no resilience. When there is motion then you can redirect.
The words “can’t” and “but” can get in your way. Can’t
and But will shut down resilience. Don’t get caught like a deer-in-the-headlights or allow the monsters to
prevail. A change in landscape should signal a call for resilience. You must get out of the ‘head lights.’
As a coach you must get your client out of the head lights.
Refer
to your C O A C H sheet – this is a step-by-step outline. Following this will help you crystallize
your outcome.
Getting passed
the generalities and negatives is very important. Expressed negatives are obvious if you use negative terminology.
Negative Emotions:
These should be avoided at all times.
1. Envy/Jealousy – will focus you more on resentment
instead of pro-activity. Envy and jealousy knock the “want” out of your RAS.
2. Regret
Start to intuitively recognize when people present you with
negative blocks. They will prevent you from moving you forward.
Coaching should incorporate teaching our clients that the moment they realize they are ready to make a change,
is the moment of opportunity for a new beginning. There are no external limits; we self-impose them. Every
day is an opportunity for a resolution and a new beginning.
In
reference to Mulan’s target game. The target represents is the metaphor for your RAS. The target is the
focus. Unless you know what the target is, you cannot coach yourself. Do you always have enough force behind your
intention to always hit the target? Do you have the desire?
Propulsive power is fueled by anger and desire. Resilience is the ability to response
and overcome obstacles.

To be coachable you have to recognize that some of your actions have been determined
by previous programming. You have to be willing and open to new programming. Our own ego can interfere with our
progress. It’s very difficult to recognize and acknowledge our own shortcomings.
